(TWSE 6680), a leading provider of embedded computing solutions, is excited to announce that its ultra-compact industrial computer, the SBOX-2625, now supports the Intel® Twin Lake Core™ 3 N355 processor. This upgrade adds the final piece to complete the SBOX2625 lineup — from ultralow power to highperformance levels for scalable industrial computing. 

 

High Performance, Long-Term Reliability 

The Intel® Twin Lake Core™ 3 N355 delivers turbo frequencies up to 3.9 GHz. According to CPU Benchmark, the N355 achieves nearly 10% higher performance in multi-threaded workloads compared with the Alder Lake Core™ i3-N305, while maintaining similar power consumption. Additionally, the 8-core CPU offers a graphics boost frequency up to 1.35 GHz, enhancing responsiveness for realtime graphics and computer vision applications. 

 

Furthermore, the newly launched Intel® Twin Lake Core™ 3 N355 is expected to remain supported until 2034. With this highperformance, long-lifecycle processor, the SBOX-2625 expands its application portfolio to deliver advanced computing capability, exceptional energy efficiency, and prolonged system reliability — making it an ideal solution for demanding, powersensitive industrial applications while ensuring peace of mind. 

 

Rich I/O, Flexible Connectivity 

Beyond processing power, the SBOX-2625 accommodates two 2.5 GbE Ethernet ports and two USB 3.2 ports for high-speed data transmission, making it ideal for bandwidthdemanding applications such as video streaming and multi-camera surveillance. The system also integrates up to four USB 2.0 ports and two COM ports for streamlined IoT peripheral connectivity. 

 

Expansion options include WWAN (5G/LTE) and WLAN (WiFi/BT) modules, along with SATA SSD storage for video capture and playback — ensuring flexibility for diverse industrial and edge computing scenarios. 

 

Processor Options for Diverse Applications 

The SBOX-2625 offers three processor options, each built for specific use cases: 

  • High-performance Intel® Core™ 3 N355, 8-core — Outstanding choice for edge gateways, control terminals, digital signage, and realtime monitoring requiring instantaneous multitasking and seamless responsiveness. 
  • Intel® Twin Lake N150, 4core — Ultralow power at only 6W TDP, recommended for largescale system deployments in 24/7 factory and retail operations, reducing energy use and lowering longterm total cost of ownership (TCO). 
  • Industrialgrade Intel® Amston Lake x7433RE, 4core — Resilient adaptability for harsh environments, supporting wide temperature ranges (40°C to 70°C) and voltage inputs (DC 9–36V), with minimal latency and seamless integration for smart automation, edge computing, and industrial IoT applications.
